  • How do I cancel my subscription
    You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription log into your account, click the "My Subscriptions" tab, navigate to the item you would like to cancel, click the dropdown symbol and choose "Cancel Subscription" Keep in mind: (1) When a you cancel a recurring payment the purchased plan and payment will not end until the next cycle (i.e. the next month). (2) Canceling a subscription does not trigger a refund or exchange. You must follow the return/exchange process for each order requires the refund/ exchange.
  • Where does WALA source its shea butter?
    Our premium raw grade shea butter comes from Ghana, West Africa.
  • How do I store the shea butter?
    Unrefined shea butter is 100% natural, with no preservatives added, so it is imperative to property store the shea butter to assure its longevity. It is important to keep the Shea Butter free from air. Shea Butter can be stored in several different containers: zip lock plastic bag, plastic or glass container with a lid, etc. As long as it’s completely sealed off you are good! Shea butter starts to soften and melt at 75 degrees and up we recommend keeping it in an environment no more than 70 degrees. Additionally, Shea Butter should never be under direct heat or intence light. A normal dark dry pantry is a sufficent storage location. If you live in a naturally hot environment (where it’s often over 75 degrees) we recommend leaving it in the refrigerator.
  • How do I know if my Shea Butter is bad? When does it expire?
    On average, under the right storage conditions Shea Butter should last 2 years. If your Shea Butter smells ransid, its time to let it go! What is a ransid smell? Anything that smells putrid, like butter gone bad or rotten food. If your Shea smells nutty or smokey it's still good.
  • Exchanges
    If a customer does not want a refund (that qualifies) due to package being defective or damaged from transit, then WALA will be happy to exchange it for the same item.
  • What qualifies for a Return?
    We aim for every order to be to your satisfaction, in case that its not please proceed to customercare@walabeauty.com A return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery in order to receive a refund. Items that are returned and are tampered with will not be reimbursed. We accept all defective or damaged products and products that are new, unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • When will I get my money back?
    Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to process and the additional 3-5 business days for the refund to be applied to your card.
  • It has been 7 business days and I have yet to receive my refund.
    If it is beyond 7 business days and you have not recieved an email from WALA, please email customercare@walabeauty.com to inquire about your return.
  • What qualifies as a damaged or defective product?
    A defective or damage product is an item that is unsealed at time of delivery. Damaged or defective products must have photos submitted to customercare@walabeauty.com as proof within 1 day of delivery for both exchanges and refunds to occur.
  • Shipping Fees
    Shipping is calculated by weight and is determined at checkout.
  • Shipping Methods
    All packages shipped within the United States are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS). All packages shipped internationally are shipped via DHL.
  • How long will it take for me to recieve my purchase?
    Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to process. Then allow the following business days to receive your order. Domestic/ USA Shipments: 3-7 business days International Shippments: Up to 15 business days Please note these are estimates. *Orders are only shipped on business days (Monday-Friday) excluding holidays.
  • Where does WALA ship to?
    We continue to grow our network each day. However, currently we offer shipping to all resident, commertial, P.O. Boxes, or military addresses in the US, Canada, and the UK. If you are an interested customer outside of these countries, please contact us at customercare@walabeauty.com to make arrangements.
